Goal:

Improvement of the occupational competence of Chinese teachers in the specialist field of logistics.

Description:

Over a period of 3 years, teaching in the specialist field of logistics is to be introduced in model classes at 6 schools in Beijing, a partner region of the state of Baden-Württemberg. The teaching is to be practice-oriented and geared towards German fields of learning. The focus will be on subject-related and methodical training of the teaching staff and on transforming the teaching in the model classes to practice-oriented tuition that is in line with occupational reality. The long duration of the project and the ongoing support of the schools by the project team from Baden-Württemberg are designed to achieve a sustainable change in the teaching situation in the model classes, a change that will endure long after the completion of the project.

Status of the project:

• Letter of Intent signed in December 2016

• Curriculum and training teams have been formed

  1 pedagogical  project team manager has been named
  5 training tandems have been chosen

• Team-forming measures and the first five trainings in Beijing took place from May to November 2017.

Next steps:

• 5 pedagogical and subject-related training courses will be carried out at the participating logistics schools in Bejing in 2018.
