Goal:

Improvement of the occupational competence of graduates in the automotive field who have completed model classes involved in the project.

Description:

Over a period of four years, teaching in the automotive field is to be introduced in model classes at ten schools in China. The teaching is to be practice-oriented and geared towards German fields of learning. The focus will be on subject-related and methodical training of the teaching staff and on transforming the teaching in the model classes to practice-oriented tuition that is in line with occupational reality. The long duration of the project and the ongoing support of the schools by the project team from Baden-Württemberg are designed to achieve a sustainable change in the teaching situation in the model classes, a change that will endure long after the completion of the project.

Tasks of the Landesakademie:

• Management of the project
• Formation of a training team (4 - 5 teams of science and technical teachers)
• Formation of a pedagogical management team
• Drawing up of a suitable curriculum
• Planning and conducting of the training seminars in Beijing
• Evaluation of the lesson planning
• Development of innovative theory and practice rooms
