Goal:

Development of a technical vocational college for electrical engineering

Description:

In this German-Vietnamese project, an electrical engineering college is to be set up in Hanoi. The cooperation between the Landesakademie Esslingen (LAK) and the Hanoi Vocational College of Technology (HACTECH) is a "cooperation agreement" signed on November 24, 2016. The FiVe project (Fachschule für Technik in Vietnam) is dedicated to the gradual establishment of specialist training courses in the field of electrical engineering according to German standards and with German degrees.

Other partners in this project are WMU GmbH Magdeburg and the University of Leipzig, represented by the International SEPT Institute (Small Enterprise Promotion & Training). The cooperation is intended to increase the number of qualified technical staff in the field of electrical engineering and to enable young graduates to secure their future perspective. During this cooperation concepts for the training of technicians will be developed and tested and it is an aim to achieve a state recognition of the degree in Vietnam.

Tasks of the Landesakademie:

  • Planning and controlling of the project
  • Elaboration and adaptation of the curricula to Vietnamese conditions
  • Implementation of training measures for teachers
  • Conception and implementation of further education measures in the field of learner-centered and action-oriented teaching didactics as well as in the field of learning field
  • Support in the preparation and execution of final examinations
