Goal:

Promotion of the German language as a teaching language in subject teaching

Description:

The project is carried out in cooperation with the Goethe Institute and the Ministry of Education for Baden-Württemberg (contact at the KM: Ms Rolli) as a recurring training course with a focus on various specialist fields. This year the focus lay on the specialist field of care and nursing, in previous years on the specialist field of metals and wood. Mixed teams of language teachers and specialist subject teachers are invited to Baden-Württemberg to take part in a one-week training course held in German.

Tasks of the Landesakademie:

• Planning and implementation of a training course in the fields of metals and wood
• Planning and implementation of a training course in the fields of nursing and geriatric care as well as everyday patient care
• Conceptualisation: State Academy for Training and Staff Development in Schools, Esslingen
